In the later part of December 2018, my wife and I traveled to Arizona for some R & R. Prior to the trip,we decided to look at properties for a possible retirement home. Many nights were spent dreaming of acquiring such property. As we had been looking at Tucson and Phoenix metro for properties, we decided to park our 5th wheel somewhere in the middle....which happened to be Casa Grande. A realtor from Tucson had noticed some of the homes we were saving on a website and invited us to take a look at some of them. That became our first venture......being raised in the country, there are just too many people in both Tucson and Phoenix. First impressions are a lasting impression. We had asked if there was a realtor in Casa Grande that could show us properties in that area. The stars must have aligned that day because we were given the name Rose Nicholas of Long Realty. We called Rose to discuss what we were looking for in a home and the second venture began. My wife and I had several homes that we had picked out prior to our trip and many of those same homes were on a list that Rose had chosen for us to view. Since we were from out of town, our first thought was...how could we find someone we could trust to be fair to us. That may seem selfish, but none the less, probably a very common thought of many people. We wanted to work with an individual whose main concern WASN’T just selling a house but providing us a home that fit our needs. During our first encounter with Rose, I think we were both trying to get a “feel” of each other.......you know, personality, trust, respect, honesty, etc. That did not take long, my wife and I “clicked” with Rose. We would look at a home, Rose would watch our actions, and she would know...”let’s move on” to the next one .And she was correct. Since our stay was limited, I feel we ran Rose ragged, setting up appointments, changing our minds over and over. Never did Rose refuse nor give any indication she was frustrated with us, (another fine quality that Rose possesses). We viewed in excess of a dozen listings with Rose, even almost getting one home purchased while we were in Casa Grande. Since we came to only look at homes, I was totally not prepared to purchase, otherwise we would have made a purchase on that first home. As it came time to leave Casa Grande, we left Rose in charge of deciding which homes would fit our needs. Four homes were on our “list”, Rose kept us informed of others coming on the market, she went to look at them and informed us of her opinion of the property. Rose knew what we were looking for and we trusted her opinion of the home. In the end, we purchased one of the homes we originally looked at. Being 1600 miles from the home you are purchasing would normally not be easy. But Rose made it painless. She took care of scheduling inspections, getting repairmen lined up and overseeing corrections to minor deficiencies, assisting with home owners insurance agencies, assisting with home warranty companies, communications between the listing agent and the previous owners, communications with our lending agent, and the list is never ending. Most reviews are just single words describing your experience, but that type of review cannot sufficiently describe what my wife and I experienced with Rose. Rose has the title of “Realtor”, but that is just the cover of the book. Rose will provide anyone with a home purchasing experience second to none. Trustful, respectful, determined, communication, fair, responsible, positive attitude, understanding.
